Next to old Santy Claus himself, there's no other man on earth who loves Christmas more than Frank Thompson. Why not sample a little of Frank's Christmas cheer this year by giving the gifts of GREAT CHRISTMAS MOVIES and A NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS? If these two books cannot put you in the mood for some Yuletide cheer, then nothing else can. GREAT CHRISTMAS MOVIES is the companion book to AMC's 1998 television special. From the first turn-of-the-century silent movie about that Silent Night, right on up to THE SANTA CLAUSE, Frank takes a peek at each film, adding his own Silver Screen Saavy and insight. It is also chuck full of photos of some of your favorite Christmas movie scenes. For movie lovers or lovers of Christmas movies, this book is a must. A NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS is Frank Thompson's photo-glutted companion book to Tim Burton's cult classic and contains all the lyrics to the film's songs. It reads like pure gold. If you do not believe me, then just ask Frank himself and he will tell you. Anyhow, Christmas is coming, the geese we soon shall cook, Won't you please give a gander at each Christmas book? Contact Frank at his website: www.frankthompson.tvOh yeah and if you ask real nice and leave him some milk and cookies, Frank will even sign the books for you. Frankly, you coud do no better... i usually wake up earlier on christmas morning to watch his special on tcm (usually on from 5-7 a.m). its very enjoyable year after year.

As of right now no DVD copy exists so the copying would be more difficult. I would happily burn you a copy but the technology at my house isn't exactly first rate lol...
There are a few VHS copies on Ebay just in case no member here can burn you one.

Many of the episodes availible look rather interesting. I may watch some if I didn't have to sit in this chair for an hour watching a small screen.

I watched i before and couldn't believe how bad the inaccuracies are. Like Crockett being killed a day before the final assault.

I know a lot of you have been out there trying to find the Alamo episode of the hit series "Time Tunnel" but the search has been to no avail more often then not. But, your quest has finally come to an end as I have found a free movie site that has the episode we have all been looking for. Watch and enjoy, THE TIME TUNNEL! www.hulu.com/watch/12362/the-time-tunnel-the-alamo

I have it in my Netflix queue. What could of made this film better is if they used more extras And some of those cannon where not real they are electronicly fired and you can see the wire protruding out of the muzzle and running under the barrel. Also, for cannons supposed be firing a massive grape shot, there is about an inch of recoil which is instantly noticed on the first and every shot...

How did you happen upon One Man's Hero, Greg? It was in and out of the theater before you could blink an eye. Luckily, I was able to see it on the big screen before it got yanked. I was looking through the VHS section of the library (had to have been 5 or 6 years ago) when I saw Tom Berenger's picture utop a column of marching soldiers with familiar looking hats. So I picked it up, it sounded good and I borrowed it.

It is ONE MAN'S HERO! One of my favorite movies even though it gets drawn out and boring from time to time.
Joaquim de Almeida who plays Cortina would be my choice to play Santa Anna if they ever made a new Alamo movie.

I've never seen it. It's hard to locate and I'm not about to go paying $75.00 plus for a 30 minute VHS tape. As it's a scholastic film, why don't you ask your teacher to look into it? Maybe there is some sort of discount for schools. Wouldn't that be something, watching the film in class? My history class is has passed this time period so I doubt that can ever happen.

Wasn't there also a pirate named Barbarosa? With that hair, all Willie needs is a tri-corner hat and he'd pass for one...

Bratt's performance was the only good thing in TEXAS, which I felt was an overall disaster.
