Although the season has more or less passed, Ben Afleck's holiday film, "Surviving Christmas" is still on your video store shelf. It's the story of a successful advertizing saleman (Afleck) who doesn't want to be alone for Christmas after his girfriend walks out on him, so he goes back to the house that he grew up in and then hires the family of the current owners to be his family for one night. "Surviving Christmas" has some fun moments and Afleck show that he can pull off a few comedic moves quite effortlessly.
If you haven't seen it yet, "Surviving Christmas" is worth an annual viewing, at least. So, come December, remember to mark it on your viewing calendar.

i heard of it, but never saw it. maybe next christmas. The film credits show 2003 as the year of theatrical release. It only just made DVD around Christmas, 2004. Like Scrooge, or "A Christmas Story", it's a seasonal thing.
