All depends on the type of ale you drink, here in the U.K. we have Lager that we drink ice cold, like your Bud, we have beer with a bit more body that we like a tad warmer than Lager and we have what we call Real Ale, that is full bodied and smooth with no fiz which we serve at a few degrees below room temperature. The nearest thing I have found to English Beer is the Alamo Ale that they have at the Buckhorn Saloon in San Antone, dark and smooth, a bit like Halle Berry.

By all means, post the photo of Halle Berry. (And one of the pub, if you've got one.)

Nice Tavern, Mr. Warnell! Yeah, too bad that we could not have "pulled a pint", or two, while you were yet the owners.

Here are the pictures of our pub, "The Crown Inn". My wife and myself behind the bar and the Brown Bess on the pub wall. Sorry the pictures aren't too clear as they were cropped from original photo's. Couldn't find the picture of Halle Berry!!!!! I love those kind of pubs, We did have here a pub called "Kellys Irish Pub" but they where closed and fined by the fire marshall for not keeping the emergency exit unlocked. Your pub Henry looks like a fine place, a place where you can bring your girl to or go alone and not be bothered and have a very good time. You might have mentioned it but did you serve food?

It was April, 1985. I'd just come back to my B&B after a day of exploring Bristol, only to find that I'd missed dinner. The pub next door had also stopped serving "pub grub", but they had one item on the warmer. So, with Ritchie Havens on the radio singing Dylan's "Just Like A Woman" for background music, I sat myself down to a bowl of chili con carne and saltine crackers.

I've got a can of WOLF Chili in the cupboard AND some saltines. What do you want to trade for them? A pound of coffee, an original civil war 3 pound solid shot and my treasured record collection of The Brady Bunchs' greatest hits and the partridge family Live at the hollywood bowel
