Oh, I'm in San Antonio today, visiting with John Hinnant and Davy Webb. This evening, we plan on going to the County Line for ribs. Yee Haw! ;D

Sounds like a great place for kids to grow up! Much better for a kid than growing up in the streets of a big city...
Ah, ribs! Yummi, that´s real tasty food! And a stroll at the Alamo I should´nt wonder. Have a nice evening, Nef!

I love the big city and never find it too fast for me, but i'd always love to spend an extended amount of time (not during hockey season lol) in the country where there is peace and quiet.
PS Enjoy the ribs! But their brisket is the bomb!

St Peter and Paul Church, at the end of Castell St. The original church, a log structure, was built on this site in 1845 by German immigrants. The present stone church was built in 1871.

Entrance sign to the Comal County Fairgrounds, just across the street from the New Braunfels Library, on Commons. The fair will be held this coming September 26th, through the 30th, in conjunction with a rodeo! I plan on being there.

Nef, you've hit on one of our favorite Texas towns. We pass through New Braunfels about twice to four times a year and have always loved the place. We've rental a condo on the Comal River for family gatherings one time, tubbing down the Comal. Love it. Another of our favorite places is Boerne. So many beautiful Texas Hill Country towns.
