Goliad MAssacre reenactment, March, 2010 Marching the prisoners out of the presidio. We would be walking about a mile from the place towards one of the actual execution sites. As I was going to document the march on film, I had to actually jog most of the way, just to keep ahead of the procession. And quite the trot it was, too.

Received this mid-1960's postcard in the mail and discovered the reason for the odd point of view is that it's an ad post- card for the Menger Hotel showing how close the hotel is to the Alamo.

How many years did it take to make this? Started it in January, 2008. The chapel itself took about a month to complete. Worked on the rest of the compound through January, 2009. In October/November 2009 added about 800 figures to it from my old Alamo diorama. Had to retouch every one of them because the paint had flaked off in places. Just before High Holy Days in March, 2010, I added some more of the cavalry figures.
