Wow! Simply amazing! If I ever come to direct and Alamo movie, here is my David Crockett!

Well, it has to be at least 2004, as that's the Dripping Springs church. No, I meant the actors. I thought they have been used in various Alamo docs since the late 90's. I could be wrong though.

Crockett,(Jeff Bearden) Bowie, (Jack Edmondsen) Travis, and Joe in one of the early History Channel presentations. Late 90's right? They have been using clips of those three for as long as I can remember. I think that's ever the same Crockett from another documentary of theirs called "Boone and Crockett: Hunter Heroes".

Ladies and Gentlemen, for the past year, the Alamo Central forum here on pro-boards has gone through many new looks, including a complete transfer to a new server. Unfortunately, the server crashed and will never be recovered. Luckily this site has been kept up to serve as archives. I know it has been a while and will be extremely hard for the site to become active again, but I will reopen this anyway in hopes that the great information posted on this site will help further everyone's interest in the Alamo and American history.
Thank you, Greg

But most of those posts were reposts of threads stuck on SMF. Because of that, this new transfer should be really smooth.

LOL - yes, Marion does sound like a girls name. ;D Thank God, the dog was´nt called Dutchess... Funny that his name was spelled 'Marion' because the male spelling of that name is usually 'Marian'.

Just sit out on the front porch with that gun Mike. You'll find that no one threatening will come near you...

How come he was called Duke? How did that nick-name originate? I thought he was named after a dog named 'Duke'...

Hard to find all of the ingredients? I have some of the spices on hand, but others aren't something you'd find in the local supermarket...

I've got 'em all answered except for one, and the answer to it is proving elusive. You still have plenty of time to find it...

When the Pope was in New York back in the 80's, my mom stood out in the pouring rain waiting for his Pope Mobile to ride by en route to wherever he was going. She saw it approach and lifted her arm up with the camera over the crowd of people and snapped a photo of the Pope. I have to find a away to upload that picture....
