Rudy lives in Bandera, Texas and runs a real estate office. Recently he did a TV pilot called "Who Killed Pat Garret" that was written by Jack Edmondson. He performs in a Cowboy band called the Rudy Robbins Band and has a cd on "How To Yodel Like A Singing Cowboy".

It's a well known fact that John Ford had filmed Rudy (it do) Robins for several scenes however, it isn't well known that Ned had also shot several scenes with John Ford and he was completely cut out of the film (John thought he was too demanding by saying "Whats my Motivation" over and over. here is a frame from one of his cut scenes....enjoy

Thanks, Bromhead. Good one! Maybe old Chill Wills thought that I wasn't being subtle enough in advertizing the film on my shirt front. But then again, we all know how stronly Chill felt about the importance of good publicity.

Heres another shot from ned's cut scenes. He was the Duke's first choice for Jaco but the Duke couldn't get Ned out of the air conditioned trailor. Ned again in a different part, this time as "Thimblerigg" All cut out of the origional 600minute film ;D

I was just noticing in that first LIFE photo of the soldados coming over the west wall, isn't that the 'gunnade' in the lower righthand corner of the picture? In the real Alamo (and in Dripping Springs) the gunnade was located in the center of the west wall.

Another one of Neff's cut scenes. It seems that for some reason, he couldn't look in the right direction

Ned, Did you remember to take photo's of the old limestone house JW used for the facade of the church....that you forgot the last time you were there? I'll be danged. There were three of us---Davy, Mo and myself--- who had cameras when we visited the limestone house, but nary a one of us bothered to photograph it. I could've sworn I had a picture of it somewhere. Oh well, I'll keep searching.

Bromhead, I found the photo! This is the foundation of the limestone house that Happy Shahan claimed was the source of the stones for the Waynamo facade. It's located on the outskirts of Brackettville at the beginning of the seven mile drive to Alamo Village. (You can see the edge of the Alamo Village billboard, on the right.)

There goes the Long Barrack! You just don't see stuntmen putting their lives on the line like that anymore, do you? It's all CGI, smoke and mirrors, now. Those Waynamo stuntmen got hurt.
