Amazingl photo, Bromhead, but it looks more like the Baptistry, to me. Why there's even the baptisimal fount, there. The photo appears to be the late Eighties. Those wonderful old Alamo paintings are now all located over in the Alamo Giftshop.

Great shot, Bromhead! if the Texians had had those two towers on the chapel, thy could've given them Santy Anny fellers what-fer, couldn't've they? Here's a photo of the chapel in the early 1920's.

Even though the latest renovations on the Long Barrack may be nice, I would still like to have been able to see it as it looked in 1960, before the roof was added---a roofless weed-choked, ivy covered ruin.

Here's a photo of some Alamo reenactors having their picture taken with some school kids, over by the west wall of the sacristy. The date is March 6, 1980. And yeah, the guy in the center, with the black hat is me!

since you can tell that shrine of texas liberty was filmed at one of the other missions(forgot the name) i doubt they would have went through all off the trouble for a few shots at the 'mo.

Here's the arcade at the San Jose Mission. Could this be what you saw? The gate at San Jose (below) greatly resembles the one from the LAST COMMAND SET----or vice versa!

That looks like the Roman aquaduct system that runs thru the middle east and Europe.

I mean it looks to be in good shape and what not to look that good 115 years or so after the slaughter and massacre held on that Holy Shrine! Just had to know and curious! It's the original well site, anyhow. How long the well itself's been there, I don't know. Bromhead, check your old postcards to answer this one.
