KING KONG (2005), with Naomi Watts in the role of actress Ann Darrow, opens tonight. Is anyone going to see it. It looks promising.
Give us your thoughts...

Several weeks back Leno had Naomi Watts on and then they showed the unedited fight scene between Kong and three T-Rex`s in the Jungle near a cliff edge and let me tell you this was a BAD ASS fight! Kong was using his fist like a battering ram on one, while using his foot on another! Kong killed one T-Rex by smashing his head in with a huge boulder size rock and you should see Kong when he`s beating his chest in anger and defiance! This beast means business when you mess with him! Last night Jack Black was on Leno and he said the scene coming up was like running from the bulls in Pomplona, and boy he was not kidding! It showed Black and some guys in a narrow ravine with a motion picture camera, then the ground starts to rumble louder and louder-it is a herd of Brontosauras`s running fast, right towards them! They just barely get the camera and high tail it out when the clip stopped,oh well! From what I have seen the movie looks to be real nice, especially Kong in action and during the big fight! I finally got around to seeing KING KONG over this past weekend and I must say that it was rather well done. What I liked most is how the filmmakers got you feeling as though you were really back in the 1930's. It was indeed a visual feast. What I found kind of hard to swallow was the 'love' relationship between Kong and Ann Darrow. (Watts.) After 17 members of the crew are killed trying to rescue her from the giant ape on Skull Island, all Ann does is feel sorry for Kong. Ditto, when Kong is rampaging New York and killing folks right and left, Ann still apparently wants to protect Kong from being shot.
Anyway, I would certainly recommencd that you go and see KING KONG for yourself, before passing judgement; it certainly is the best version to come along sing the original.

I had purchased the 2 DVD special edition and let me tell you again try out the chapter where Kong takes on a family of T.Rex! The fight is awesome watching Kong open a major can of whoop ass! Kong bites, punches, kicks, throws and uses a bolder on the beasts! 1930s New York and very atmosphericin the city as well as the Island! I recomend the 2 DVD set of the movie if that is something you would like to see! TED COLE....aka....Cole_blooded
