I just received a signed copy of Edmondson´s Alamo Story today. So now my small newbie collection consists of:
One Domingo Morning by Ned Huthmacher
A Revolution Remembered by de la Teja (about Seguin)
Alamo Story by Jim Edmondson
and four Grafic Novels by Jack Jackson (Jaxon):
Comanche Moon (about Quannah Parker)
Los Tejanos (about Juan Seguin)
Lost Cause (about Texas reconstruction)
Indian Lover (about Sam Houston)
and (of course) The Alamo (2004) movie and Wayne´s Alamo movie.
EDIT: The latest addition to my collection is
"Three Roads to the Alamo" by William C. Davis.

How do you like Indian Lover, about General Sam? I'm thinking about getting it.
I checked Jaxon's graphic novel on the siege and battle out of the library a year ago. Liked it enough to consider stealing it, but my conscience kicked in.

How do you like Indian Lover, about General Sam? I'm thinking about getting it. I checked Jaxon's graphic novel on the siege and battle out of the library a year ago. Liked it enough to consider stealing it, but my conscience kicked in. Indian Lover is great, like all his grafic novels! If you liked his Alamo book I´m sure you´ll also like this one. The price has been lowered from $ 16 to $ 11 on Amazon.Another great one of his books are Los Tejanos, about the Tejano´s and Seguin´s story during the Texian fight for independence. So, you´ve read his Alamo book. Unfortunately, I have´nt. Too bad the libraries over here don´t have it because it´s sold out, although it was the last book he ever drew. I think it´s from 2003 or 2003. There´s one copy for sale - used - om Amazon for $ 76 plus postage, and another used copy on Amazon UK for £ 50! That´s VERY expensive I think. It was published only a few years ago - it can´t already be that expensive, even as a collectors item. Those two copies have been for sale on Amazon for a very long time. If the price was reasonable they would have been sold long ago! I´m thinking about looking up all the comic book shops on the web. Somebody must have a copy for sale for a reasonable price. If you ever hear of a copy for sale, please tell me!

Nice collection there Seguin! Thanks, Davy! It will do for starters. I know you´re a big Crockett fan. Which Crockett bio is the best? Would that be Groneman´s "Davy Crockett - hero of the common man"? And do you know where one could buy a real coon skin cap? I saw one at www.twobears.com - price $ 85, but there was´nt any picture of it.
