I'm surprised that no one has mentioned ALEXANDER, the latest theatrical re-telling of of the life of Alexander the Great. Has anyone seen it? it's supposed to be controversial.

I don't plan on seeing it but I know alot about Alexander the Great. He was one of the greatest generals to ever live. The only thing he had more than ambition was generalship. Using only the tiny powers of Greece and Macedonia he brought down the mighty Persian Empire, the equivalent of Great Britain and France taking the U.S. down. We can only imagine what he would have been like ruling his vast empire, as he died of a fever contracted in India shortly after his campaign ended.

It's ok for the battle scenes but i was not too thrilled about the implications of Alexander being Bi..

i watched this a few months agao and didnt finish watching it. i thought the battle scene was slow and the rest of the movie was very boring. i think i only watched an hour and a half. if you want to see a good movie made around the same time, get "Troy".
