The Battle of Aspern-Essling. I was just wondering, does anyone here know the significance of this battle? If you don't, I can tell you, but no googling!

Okay, it has become abundantly clear that none of you know. The significance was that it was Napoleon's first real defeat. Of course, he then came back and won, but that doesn't make it any less important.
