I have seen countless photos of American Revolutionarty reenactors and I am surprized how they can go into such detail in getting their impression just right and yet give no effort in getting their period hairstyle right. You will see guys with beards, mustaches, sideburns, or else just a modern haircut. If they do not want to go through their daily life wearing a queue, or pony tail they can always invest in a long haired wig, while the "Lobsterbacks" can always opt for a cool powdered wig.  |
