"Dark Side of the Moon"kicked asz and still holds up well even today! ;D I saw Pink Floyd live in 72,it was the "Dark Side of the Moon"tour! ;D   The "Dark Side of the Moon" album stayed on the top ten Album charts a hell of a long time! TED....aka....cole_blooded ;D |

i have a friend that has a dark sid eof the moon '73 tour tshirt. that must have been the same tour that you saw him in.

ALAMOGUY i saw Pink Floyd on Sept.8,1972,i have the ticket stub in front of me! I have kept roughly 80% of my Ticket stubs as momento`s! Sept.8`th was Pink Floyd`s first or second concert that year in the States! Dark Side of the Moon was first played live in January or February of 1972 as part of their show! In Austin in Sept.72 They played "Dark Side of the Moon"to start the show with! And let me tell you buddy the whole crowd sat open mouthed like a Deer in headlights when they played that beautiful piece of Aural music! They also played Careful with the Axe Eugene and Echoes,i don`t remember one part they also played! The Audience i was in was treated to New and yet Unreleased material,it being "Dark Side of the Moon"! ;D ;D The encore was a Mind Blowing "Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun" ;D 90% of the Minds were indeed Blown that night! ;D ;D,and big time to be sure! The 72 audiences loved it because we did`nt know anything about this new stuff,and man it was a Hell of a suprise. ;D TED....cole_blooded |
