Who do you want to see in the White House come 2008? Me personally, I'd like to see Barrack Obama. I heard him talk on a couple of shows and he seems very intelligent. The downside is, he has very little political experience since he is so young. What I would like to see is Hilary Clinton run with Obama as her V.P. If she is elected and say does eight years in the White House, Obama will have gained all of that experience and will be ready to run for himself. In this world today I dont think other countries would take Obama seriously if he addressed current world issues (more seriously then other countries take Bush of course, hell, people would take me more seriously then Bush). As for McCain, If i had to pick a Republican to win it would be him. Since he opposes bush and the war in Iraq like i do, I think he could do this country some good. As for Giuliani, I loved him as mayor of New York City but now he openly supports Bush and if he were to win, the troops would stay in Iraq. I'm not sure of Jeb Bush is going to run but if he does, I dont see him getting one vote (atleast not from me). They say when he runs he will win and create the "Bush Dynasty". Can you picture what this country would become if we put another Bush in the white House? The only Bushes i would put in the White House are centenials that onyl have to be watered once every couple of weeks. As for Dean, anyone that screams like a whackjob doesnt deserve to even be nominated by his party. "We're gonna win! Were gonna go all the way! All over the country! and then to the white house...yeeeeeeeehawwhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!"
Just my two, no wait...three cents on how i feel about the next elections.

I picked John McCain.(whoops, i must of picked Jeb) Obama is too much a Kennedy Liberal for my liking. He has already promssed to co-sponser a bill to to ban ALL firearms for law abiding americans, along with Chuck Schumer, Hillary Clinton and other Liberal Democrats.. And as a catholic, i can't support ANY political party that says Abortion is perfectly fine but the death penalty is immoral. Now i'm not going to get in a political debate.. Here are my political views in a nutshell. Remember what the Duke said in the Alamo.."political arguments don't flavor folkes supper" I'm a Conservitave Republican, I support Pres Bush in most cases but not on his immigration policies and some of his fiscal spending. I support the war on terror and our troops in both Iraq and Afganistan (especially because i'm a veteran). I do want them to come home as soon as possible but after they WIN!! Ok, enough of my rant.

does anyone think there will be a draft? I don't think so Our military recruiting goals have been met and exceeded in most cases. A draft should only be done as an extreme last resort. IMO ;D

i just know that if they have one when im 18, im going to canada. Well, don't start practicing saying 'oot and aboot', just yet. If the war in Iraq is over by the time you are 18, then the military may offer you some training that could assure your future. One of my brothers, for instance, joined the army back in the early 80's, got to spend two years in Germany and two in Fort Hood, Texas, where he acquired heating and air conditioning skills. He worked in a field hospital (like in MASH) and had to set up the portable heating and air for the camp. Then, when he left the army, he got a heating and air conditioning job at a prominent California hospital where he is now head supervisor. Not bad, for an army grunt.
