Ladies and Gentlemen,
Over the course of the last few months, Alamo Central has transformed from a forum with four active posters to a forum that has ten new people posting, registrations every day, and hundreds of posts made per day. Because of the aformentioned reasons, I decided that with the help of a friend, we would go from this basic technology site on Proboards to a new forum host with better technology on SMF. After making the transition, members complained that a lot of information was lost and that it wouldn't be worth it because the threads couldn't be transferred over. We then were able to transfer everything and the new forum became just like this one. After about a week of good activity, the man running the server has not paid his bills, and the new site continues to remain down.
As administrator of this forum, I would like to apologize for the constant back and forth posting that you, the members have been forced to do. I know it has been a pain in the ass but you have all been pushing through. I just hope the we do not lose any members over this because people get tired of going back and forth. For this reason, even if the new forum becomes availible, members will continue to post here until I say that the new forum is open. I want to make sure that this situation never happens again.
