Thanks for the info, Nef! I hope they don´t use artificial flowers anymore as they once did. Who wants to look at artificial flowers? Anyway, It´s a great tradition!

I hope the police can track the guy when he logs into his mail account looking for replíes, but I´m afraid that guy knows what he´s doing. He probably uses a "public" computers somewhere such as at internet café´s or libraries...

LOL - yes, Marion does sound like a girls name. ;D Thank God, the dog was´nt called Dutchess... Funny that his name was spelled 'Marion' because the male spelling of that name is usually 'Marian'. ..and Marion is also a female name.

Nice contrast! Btw, notice the girl in front. Either she did´nt want to be on your pic, or she prefers the Odditorium and doesn´t want to look at the Alamo sign... ;D -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Yeah, I noticed that. She's a Ripley's employee who is possibly aware of all the controversy surrounding the Odditorium and doesn't want to appear in the newspapers, or worse. Or an ashamed Melissa Monroe... ;D

How come he was called Duke? How did that nick-name originate? I thought he was named after a dog named 'Duke'... Really? You´re kidding, right? ;D

I hope they remember... I hope Texas remembers. I think you can leave out all hope when it comes to Ripley´s on Alamo Plaza and the San Antonio Express...

The film has been getting some poor reviews. I guess this means that I must have bad taste. As I understand it, the film has been available on DVD in Europe since October, 2007. Is this true? I just checked one of the biggest DVD online shops in Denmark. It´s been on DVD here since March 18, 2008. I don´t know about the rest of Europe, but English Amazon (amazon.co.uk) says it was released October 30, 2007. Apparently, it varies from one European country to another... Congrats with your bad taste...

1989 : Chinese students begin protests at Tiananmen Square The dream of freedom is snuffed out by Commie Pinko bastards while the world looks on. They´re not Pinko´s. They´re Bloody-Red! And you can underline bloody. But what to do about it? Attack a billion chinese? Or maybe boycot their goods? I´m sure the capitalists in the West won´t have that, not with all the factories and money they have tied up in red dictatorial China. The West won´t even stand up for Tibet, apart from some NGO´s. And now the Olympics is gonna be in China. I´m sure the Chinese Communist Party will use it to show how nice they are. It seems like nobody cares about human rights what China is concerned. The chance to buy cheap labor in China overrides human rights issues. Indeed a sad state of affairs...

I might go see it (or wait for the DVD). I just watched a clip from the movie on David Letterman. Al Pacino was on the show too (he´s one of my favourite actors ever since, "Panic in Needle Park" and "Serpico"). On the web somebody made fun of his haircut in the movie, saying it was so fluffy that it stands inches high. Oh well, another cheap shot...
