March, 1986. What? I don't look exactly the same? The very same T-shirt, or a copy??

Thanks, Rebal. Those movie stills really help gear me up for the showing of the Waynamo in San Antonio, this coming October 5th. Anyone else going? No, I can't. My nephew is getting married in October around that time.

There has been a fascinating special shown and replayed on the National Geographic Channel about"King Tut" the boy King! He had become King when he was 9 or 10 yrs. old and was 19 when he died! TED....aka....cole_blooded The most recent news on King Tut was that he was not murdered by a blow to the head as once thought, but that he died from complications from a broken thigh.

I'm slowly working up a 79th NY Cameron Highlanders outfit. The kit I'm working on would technically be prior to Civil War as I intend to wear the kilt. I already have the Cameron of Erracht kilt, the hose, and I know who can get the sporran made to specs. I had a maker for the tunic lined up, but they disappeared. There are a couple of re-enactment groups that I can contact for more details to get to get links to the right makers. I know, I know, this is a "Union suit", but my family were northerners at the time of the Wah-wuh. Plus, I live 6 weeks out of the year in NY, so it's like a second home for me. The trouble is, I have no such re-enactment group in TX to associate with.

Yes, I remember this series from when I was a boy. But, I was very young and I don't remember any of the episodes. I thought that eventuially it would make it to the Encore Western channel, but not yet.
When I was the same age, Have Gun Will Travel/Paladin caught my attention more. One Xmas, I got the whole Paladin outfit, including holster, hat, and moustache - hahahaha!

Devil's Den Devil's den after the battle The rock barricade was taken down and rebuilt sometime in between. I wonder how many times that was done.

I'm going with Gods & Gens b/c the costuming, casting, and even the stilted dialogue was better. But, that's not to say that I didn't like Gettysburg. It was excellent, too.
