How come it says that we have 101 members now, when marklemon was the 100th member and now, he 's showing as member 101? The computer must be bad at maths!

I think I have joined too many message boards to be able to do them all justice.

I think your forum is fine at the moment not cluttered with unnecessary pictures etc. and the color scheme is ideal very easy to read.

Never heard of the Ratboy and it's not my type of music anyway, at least I know who he is and what he sounds like now.

Pretty good. Where did you find it? Sort of reminds me of the handle they used to put on Judy Garland, "The little girl with the big voice." She is all over youtube and when i heard her voice, i fell in love with it...I don't really care about the music, it's just that beautiful voice of hers. I think she will go places.. What would Simon Cowel say about her? She has a really powerful voice and I like listening to her. I'm sure she will be a star very soon.

All right, I'll admit it. I must be just an old fart, when it comes to music. I just can't understand why today's music is popular with ANYONE. I was just watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade where they were showcasing some of the country's young musical talent. And that's what they sounded like...young. Back in the day, women singers sang like women. So, what's with the current trend of female singers all trying to sound like they're 12 years old? While little girl voices are just fine on little girls, when I hear a woman singing, I expect to hear a gorgeous, mature, adult sound coming out of their mouths. Is that too much to ask? So, what's your beef, if you've got one? I totally agree I also hate to hear the male singers sounding like females.

I'm no expert on guitars but that looks an extremely nice looking instrument, it will give you many hours of enjoyment and relaxation.

With having all my music on my PC as MP3 files I tend to listen to a variety of Western film soundtracks.

I would say if aliens are or have been visiting Earth they would have made them themselves known long before now and possibly left something that even the non-believers would have believed.

Ah yes, GETTYSBURG, THEN AND NOW. Lots of images of dead, mutilated and bloated bodies of soldiers strewn about, or else layed out in neat burial lines. I wonder if field photographers today would be allowed such freedom in photographing the dead? Today, it might be looked upon as a sign of disrespect. I don't know much about photographing the dead but some of the images on the News programmes don't leave much to the imagination. I can still remember the one where the Vietcong prisoner was shot in the head and that happened years ago.

There is a book that i saw a few years back. Author took all of the old photos of the Gettysburg battlefield and tried to find the exact spot where the photos where taken and snapped modern photos. I can't remember the name of the book but it was very interesting. I was fortunate enough when I was last in Gettysburg to meet the author William A. Frassanito very nice chap. www.amazon.com/Gettysburg-Then-Now-Touring-Battlefield/dp/1577470036
