Great pics! It look likes the weather is fine in SA... It was a high of 60 degrees that day, with the evening low dropping to 34.

POST HOLY DAYS... I braved visiting Alamo Plaza today, just to see how crowded it might be during Spring Break. Spring Break...that's EASTER VACATION to those of us over 40. Anyway, I headed for The Perch, but there was absolutely nobody there I knew. Oh well, I tried.

Over at the Alamo, meanwhile it was an unreal sight, as there was a queue stretching south from the church doors, past the modern-day arcade, east around the corner on Crockett Street and almost to the Crockett hotel itself. Needless to say, I did not enter the Alamo church today.

Failing to tourist mode, I thought I'd get my photo taken by the 18 pounder.

Judging from this photo of the second Long Barrack window from the north, someone got themself a nice souvenir.

Actually, that chunk has been missing for well over a year...I'm the one who spotted it on my pre-opening walkaround that morning.
