Danish TV is showing The Alamo (1960) tomorrow Dec 24 at 5.15 PM (the short version of course). Nice Christmas present! The day after they show the duke in "McLintock"...

In a few hours my family and I will be heading to Church for the Christmas Eve vigil which we attend every year. It is always a beautiful mass (and the only time I ever like to going to church). For the second straight year I'll be ushering and having to deal with a capacity crowd. Every year it seems that there are a hundred more people then the year before. There is standing room only upstairs inside the church and there is overflow seating for two hundred dowstairs where the mass can be seen on a big-screen tv. After church we're heading over to an Italian restaurant and then back home where we each open one present, as one of our Christmas Eve traditions.
How is everyone else spending Christmas Eve?

Having a nice home cooked Chicken Dhansak with Mushroom Bhaji and Garlic Corriander Naan, then a few shots of Malt Whisky. Then open all of our Presents then off to bed! You and your family have a good evening, and a great Christmas Greg!

Thanks and a Merry Christmas to you too!
I've tried Onion Baji before, is your Mushroom Baji deep fried?

How is everyone else spending Christmas Eve? Wrappin' a few last gifts, toastin' my Alamo cousins with a bottle of Heineken and playin' some classical music really, really loud.

Hi Greg, Onion Baji (Bhajiyas) is Made with sliced Onion mixed with Gram Flour and spices rolled into balls and deep fried. Mushroom Bhaji is a side dish made with small button Mushrooms or Chestnut Mushrooms cooked with Onions, Garlic, Turmeric, Chilli, Coriander,Cumin,Salt, and Tomato Puree, so it ends up with a thick spicy Gravy. Very tasty! Would you like the Recipe?

Not a mushroom man, eh? I'll bet you could substitute tofu and it would be just as good.
