Though some folks prefer the moister stuffing, I prefer oven dressing, with waves of gravy. I also like my dressing with a crispy crust on top. Just set a casserole dish of it in front of me with an entire gravy boat and I'll eat it.

Come to think of it, there must be hundreds of kinds of stuffing (aka dressing, if you live down south.) plain stuffing savory stuffing corn bread stuffing oyster stuffing etc etc

You didn't add, "Shrimp stuffing, shrimp stuffing with chestnuts, shrimp dressing, with raisins, shrimp and turkey pockets, shrimp and turkey sandwiches, skewered shrimp and turkey, shrimp and turkey soup, shrimp gravy and shrimp, stuffed with dressing. That's about it."

You sound like Strother Martin in the TRUE GRIT sequel, ROOSTER COGBURN AND THE LADY.
"I've sailed around the Horn, been ever'where, done ever'thing and I can tell you, people are just plain miserable!"
