I really don't have anything to be thankful about this year.. When things are looking bad just think you are alive and well, things will get better for you I'm sure. I guess we have all had down times in our lives a few years back my Mother died, I broke up with my partner and a really good friend died of a heart attack all within a month of each other, but I carried on.

I really don't have anything to be thankful about this year.. Well, 2007 is soon over. Let´s hope 2008 will prove to be a great year for all of us! I am praying that i can climb out of this bottemless pit of depression that i'm in. November 27th would have been my 21st wedding anniversary so that day and Christmas will hit me hard... But, happy thanksgiving to all of you..

The bird is in the oven, even as I key.
It's 42 degrees here, wind chill factor, 34 degrees. Certainly seasonal weather, at any rate.
HenryWarnell, is there much mention in UK history books concerning the Plymouth Colony Pilgrims and their first Thanksgiving celebration?

First of all I would like to wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving Day, and Mike, hang on in there my friend, things will get better! Sorry Ned, this may seem strange to you, I know very little about English History, I have no real interest in it at all, I should know about the Pilgrim Fathers but I don't. I was born in the wrong Country, I am much more interested in American History. If I had the chance I would live in America, I love the country and the people. As for this country, the great went out of Great Britain long ago!

HenryWarnell, is there much mention in UK history books concerning the Plymouth Colony Pilgrims and their first Thanksgiving celebration? Its like 70 degrees up here and its horrible. The house is hot as hell. The turkey has been in the oven for a while and the potatoes are boiling. Getting hungry...
