Did Juan Seguin ever reside there during his lifetime? During his life in Texas, Juan Seguin resided primarily in San Antonio. However, he now rests in the City of Seguin. Approach to Juan Seguin's burial site. That little path through the grass leads to the fenced in area.

About that missing Mexican flag, these two Tejano gentlemen, who were kind enough to take my photo by Seguin's grave, told me that someone keeps cutting down the Mexican flag. The pair like to visit the site during their lunch hour and have seen three replacement flages cut down from the pole. It's very sad, the hateful, or ignorant people who would do such a thing.

Really Great pics, Nef! It´s great that you photographed the statue from all angles! First time I´ve seen the plaque on the statue. That goes for some of the angles too! It´s also great that you photographed close-up´s of the grave stone, so we can read the text! Thanks a lot! Funny thing though. I copied the pics of the statue and grave, to keep in my Alamo pic folder, but only a few of them came through. The rest just came through as empty icons. I´ve repeated the procedure both here and at the Sentry - same negative result. It´s very odd, especially since a few did get through. Ah, the wonders of modern technology...
