Check your glasses. Some printed fonts are just hell on the eyes.

In the recent pub "Alamo Journal", it mentions the unusual 'Bas Relief' on the south wall separating the Long Barracks & the church was still visible in a photo taken around 1860. Does anyone have an image of that? Would be appreciated. Can't wait for that book to be published. The image on the "Journal" cover looks like a photo itself.

Nope, do not, Alamo Al. I do not believe I have ever seen it, either. Now, Craig Covner might have it.

This Craig Covner "Daguerreotype" shows the area in question, though. Craig's artwork is simply amazing. N'est ce pas?

Ted Cole happened upon the following six nice photos of the Alamo. Thanks, Ted. A very clear interior shot, showing the ceiling in detail.

A beautiful shot of the Alamo church facade, under a very blue sky. It almost looks 3D!

Another photo from Ted Cole, this one of one of the Waynamo cannon at Old Tucson. Now, is this the John Wayne museum that burned down in 1995? When I visited Old Tucson in May, 2003, this cannon was not there.

Great picture I often wonder how many of these sorts of images are still to be found in peoples houses.
