I CANT BELIEVE YOU HAVENT SEE THE MOVIE YET. ITS GREAT. DOES THE BROMHEAD COME FROM THE GUY IN THE MOVIE ZULU? To answer the first question, The movie never came close to where i live, the closest it got was 175 miles and that was a bit too far. To answer the second question, Yes, it's from the movie ZULU which happens to be one of my favorites, even though there is hardly any historical facts in the film. I have attended several "British Encampments" dressed as a staff sgt of the 24th.

hard to believe but, "Alamo Village" is more interesting than the actual Alamo. At the real Alamo, you can't take any photo's in the buildings, you can't talk except in whispers in the chapel and theres wall to wall tourists there.

cool pic of SGT. GONVILLE BROMHEAD it doesnt matter if you have a problem starting a new category because if we get enough people and they start posting they wont even see the first posts. the reason i want all the categories to have posts is because when newbies visit this sit they'll see alot of posts and join.
thx

Alamoguy, I've been away from the computer so I didn't see your question. I belong to The Alamo Film website and go by the same name, Michaelalamo. I just put a website up,www.mikeboldt.com, and it features some Alamo ventures I've been lucky enough to be involved with. There is art and some Tom Feely diorama shots and a whole lot of nonsense. Zulu is also one of my favorite films. I was lucky enough to score a copy of Zulu Dawn from Laser disc and have it transfered to DVD. I think that's a great film with some off beat casting. And like all of us, September 28th can't come fast enough. Michaelalamo
