Wow, maybe I should crock pot a corned beef and cabbage, or something.
Judging from all the green Irish goods in the shops and the many restaurants advertizing a St. Paddy's Day bash, they're making a big deal of it in San Antonio. They're even supposed to be dying the river green!
That's one of the things I miss about not being at work. We'd have a nice potluck, plenty of decorations and just a splash of fellow employees, all in green.
Seems like a good day to be breaking out THE QUIET MAN DVD, as well. ERIN GO BRAGH, YOU ALL!

In the Harrison Ford film, THE FUGITIVE, there is good coverage of the St. Paddy's Day parade in Chicago where they also dye the river green. Harrison Ford's character, Dr. Richard Kimble, even manages to elude his pursuers by mixing with the crowd in the parade.

The Day itself! Have a happy one, but mind those enebriates on the road, street, or highway. That's nothing to be joking about.

Two of them took the fifth and the other drank it. As a 1/2 Irishman, I resemble that statement!
