Thats a damn shame. I kinda wish they would have left it alone.

It's good to see all the changes that have been made to JWs Alamo since the end of filming there.

It's good to see all the changes that have been made to JWs Alamo since the end of filming there. Yeah. Some for the better, some for the WORSE. The Marshal's Ode to the Pink HumpBefore you were there, There was only a stair Without color, or nary a lump. But now, you've got flair And stand beyond compare, You, oh rarest of rare, Oh Pink Hump! There are those who desire You cast into fire, Others wish you consigned to the dump! But that would be dire, All those who so conspire, How they raise up my ire, Dear Pink Hump! With Harvey alight, You were once white as white And without that definitive bump. But as Marshall, I'll fight to see that you're all right, As I guard you all night, MY PINK HUMP!

Here are a few shots of the Waynamo set taken in 1968, just after filming for BANDOLERO had wrapped. Thanks go to Frank Thompson, who was there visaiting with his parents. Frank's parents, in front of the revamped Waynamo chapel.

The youngster himself... Frank, by the BANDOLERO well. (Almost looks like Greg, in this picture.)

The youngster who became a well-known Alamo book and film writer! Maybe it´s Greg´s turn next!

Great video clips! I´ve never seen Bandolero. I guess they altered the Alamo church. Thanks, Nef!

My uncle worked on Bandolero. I have a photo of cast and crew standing in front of that well. Dean, Harry Carey, my uncle, a few others. I'd attach it but don't see where I can. If you see this , reply and tell me where to e mail it.

I knew Ted Althof, great guy! He was really into the model RR hobby and that's how I got to know him.
