This horror film, starring Kristin Cavallari and Lou Diamond Phillips is based upon an urban legend about some haunted railroad tracks near Mission San Juan, in San Antonio. As the story goes, sometime during the 1940's a school bus stalled on the tracks was hit by a speeding train that subsequently killed all the children aboard. Ever since then, if you put your car into neutral before the crossing, it is said to be pushed uphill and over the tracks by the ghosts of the children. Some drivers have even claimed to have seen tiny sets of fingerprints on the back of their cars afterwards. Hence, the title of the film. The film originally had a release date of November, 2006. It was pushed forward to 2007 and now, 01/18/2008. Has anyone seen listings for it? (I haven't.) This is supposed to be an actual photo of one of the children near the haunted RR Xing.

It's going straight to DVD and will be released in March 2008. I wonder why? Do you have all the details? I thought that this film would be of interest to folks on Alamo sites, as it concerns a Texas haunting. Wade Dillon has even been to the location of the haunted railroad tracks.

More and more movies seem to either have a short or no stay in the theatres before going to DVD. I remember having to wait 5-7 months for a DVD to come out, now it comes out in 3 months or less. Unless I really want to see a movie, I wait for it to come out on DVD.
