There's this Geico Insurance ad that seems to insinuate that Jed Clampett of THE BEVERLY HILLBILLIES made his fortune from switching his auto insurance to Geico. But the real reason, one clearly sees, is that Jed made his riches by having invented the internet in 1963.

H & R Block wants you to know that "YOU GOT PEOPLE". It also wants you to know that it considers you an illiterate.

There's this ad for a liquid fiber product that has this sexy lady dancing around the bottle. I guess the message here is "You too can look sexy, while making a mad dash for the toilet."

It's tax time and H & R Block got people. I really hate that ad.
Repeat after me, H & R promoters, "I'VE got peope, I'VE got people, I'VE got people, not "I got people".

Is it just me or do commercials seem louder then the program you're watching? Maybe its just during sporting events or something but I find myself having to mute the TV during stoppages of play during Ranger games.

It´s not you, Greg. It´s the same here! Most of the time the commercials are louder than the TV programmes...

Something NOT to hate, for a change. Dove Soap has been running a series of ads featuring beautiful women over 50. I applaud them. (Those of you under 50 need not look in here.)

How about the Binder and Binder corporation one?

There's this lame Aids awareness ad which says, "Love is fleeting; knowledge lasts."
I disagree. Love is forever, while knowledge is ever changing.

Exactly! They should have come up with a better slogan than that, especially since it´s an important issue...

There's this irritating credit card ad:
I WANT IT... I WANT IT ALL... AND I WANT IT NOW...
I guess they are banking on the concept that all people have now joined the ME FIRST generation.

There's this irritating credit card ad: I WANT IT... I WANT IT ALL... AND I WANT IT NOW... I guess they are banking on the concept that all people have now joined the ME FIRST generation. Unfortunately, they´re not completely wrong. I´ve seen various American TV shows about people in incredible debt because they went bananas when they got a credit card. Catering to people´s greed is profitable!
