Family tree? Too sad to be funny. Notice the blonde lady who says near the end of the video clip that they could call it a "Christmas tree for the family"! - Talk about compromise! Santa, help us!

CHOICES... Apparently this young woman's "choice" was to be anorexic. How many out there find this look appealing?

Time Warner cable has sunk to a new low in trying to demonstrate the importance of loyalties in one of its television commercials. Here's the scenario. This guy invites two couples to his house to watch a football game. He is hospitable and even brings out snacks for these supposed friends to enjoy. Then the caca hits the fan. His satellite TV seems to be getting poor reception. So, what does one of these so called friends say? "Let's all go over to my house and watch the game on Time Warner cable!" The rest of the friends agree and abandon their host, taking his chips along with them. Because, as we all very well know, a football game is worth far more than loyalties to, or the feelings of, a friend.

Jezuz! It seems like it does´nt matter whether the people in the commercials act morally or immorally - as long as it does the job of selling. Instead of his "friends" inviting the host with them, the cable company wants to portray him as a loser because he does´nt have cable. I guess the message is - if you don´t buy all the newest products you´ll become friensless and lonely. What a loathsome way to advertise a product...

Unfortunately, "He's been to Jareds", is back. Must be a seasonal thing.

What's this ADULT SWIM header ad doing on this website? It's a porno cartoon geared to "adults".

What's this ADULT SWIM header ad doing on this website? It's a porno cartoon geared to "adults". ADULT SWIM airs on Cartoon Network nightly at around midnight (last I checked). Its nothing like porn, just adult-oriented cartoons. I've watched a few episodes and its nothing special....

I peeked into it...briefly. Some of the characters were having cartoon sex. I didn't stick around.
(Or perhaps I have it mixed up with some other Adult cartoon. The one episode I saw concerned activity aboard this spaceship. There's this one Cyclops female alien with exaggerated physical attributes. Is that a different program?)

Except for the old Miller Light commercials, with Rodney Dangerfield, Bubba Smith and so on from back in the 80's, i hate all commercials.

I always change channel when the commercials appear. I might miss a few funny ones, but so what...
