Wow - interesting news! Thanks, Davy! It probably won´t happen but maybe the federal government should take the critique of the system to heart, so secession won´t happen some time in the future. Here in Denmark we also have secession movements. One in Greenland (although they have Home Rule) and another one at the Faroy Islands (they also have Home Rule). Like Vermont, none of those parts of Denmark could survive economically without the huge amount of money they receive from our federal government. Something must be wrong with the system when ever people wants to secede, I would think...

Other States have tried to secede before and even Staten Island (My birthplace; a burrough of New York) tried to secede from New York State. But after they relaized that they needed their own government council, fire department, police department, medical service department and other things, they quit.
