great photos nef! how did you upload photos from 1983? a scanner? Glad you like them. Yes, I scan the photos into a file, transfer the file onto a disc, load the images into my photobucket account, while on the library PC, (I have no internet access at home) and then post them on the site. Time consuming, but it gets the job done.

You look as though you visited all the places that I have over the years. Nice photographs One nice thing about traveling in the UK and Europe is that the sights probably do not change all that much over the years. Here in America, if a building is fifty years old someone will want to scrap it to put up condominiums.

You really should get internate access at home. I dont know what service providers are out there in California, but over here we can get NetsCape basic service for $7.99 a month.

My Windows 98 got corrupted. It would cost more to repair the computer than to just go out and get a new one. Meanwhile, I can still scan and do word processing, plus some games, so I'm happy enough. Here at the library, I get 90 minutes, which is plenty internet for me.

Really cool, Nef. Looks like you had a great trip. I've always been envious of friends who had the chance to travel the world in their younger days. My only worldwide traveling when I was young was courtesy of the US Navy in the mid 1960's. My wife and I finally made it to Europe in 1998, visiting Italy and Austria and had a great time. I could spend a week in Rome alone visiting all the historic sites in and around Rome. Thanks for the pictures.
