Is it just me or are the UFO specials on TV becoming more and more paranoid?

We'll see more UFO programs on TV, most of which will border on stink. They're all trying to cash in on a popular topic of the they, but offer no more than what earlier programs have. The current UFO hunters is a case in point. They do revive some older and more forgotten incidents, do some visiting the site, and talk a lot of nonsense and keep you to the last 2 minutes of the program where the evidence is usually non conclusive. Same for the Monster Quest.
The topics they cover are all very interesting but they reveal nothing. I watched a few weeks ago about 2 separate teams going into the woods where a lot of Big Foot activity happens. They camp out, get disturbed by something during the night, and THEN set the cameras to take automatic pix the following day, but of course, it's too late for that. Quite frankly HOB KNOCKLES!
I'm certainly not saying the Big Foot stories are bunk. I'm saying the programs are. It seems like one script was written for all of them with blanks where you can fill in which phenom you're following.

Exactly Al. I'm a huge fan of the History channel but almost all of there shows build up for an hour the subject at hand only to tell you in the last five minutes that no new evidence exists.

Yeah, I'm very disappointed by UFO Hunters, which I guess got booted from Sci Fi to History Channel, and I must confess, it had a more appropriate home on SciFi, having a very high 'fiction' content. They didn't really prove anything except the obvious - especially in the case of the episode regarding the crashed AAF B-25 bomber. They proved that it crashed. But the True Believers who host the show left viewers with the conclusion that the crash was caused by so-called debris jettisoned from a saucer. Come on! They didn't prove anything of the kind.I don't know what to say. Their forum and site over at SciFi won't even let you post any derogative comments about the show, or it's hosts and their so-called 'scientific' methods of research. What a crock. In short....13 Days to Glory has more fact than this show

Most of the Ghost Hunters show is lame too. I saw one recently that was interesting. What I don't get is how a spirit, who has no material body can be detected by infrared heat.
Mind you, I'm not saying whether ghosts etc. exist or not, but these shows do very little to prove their existence.
So, I'm not a regular viewer anymore, but I tune in because you never know.
Every now and then the History Channel will put on a responsible 'conspiricy' analysis type program. They did a great job with the Moon Landing one. I wonder what the people who were doing the conspiricy side thought after their evidence was completely answered by the other side. This one of the conspiricies that I ne ver really put much stock in anyway. I used to be a true believer in the Kennedy conspiricy from almost the outset, because the lawyer from NO offered compelling evidence, or so I thought. I didn't realize what BS he really was. It looked like he just wanted to nail Shaw for whatever reason. He really tore up the Warren Commision with his evidence, but when the real fact were presented............down goes another one. NEXT!
One of the earliest conspiricies that I was hooked on was the death of Paul Mcartney one of the late 60s.

1 out of every 10 episodes of Ghost Hunters is a good show. Maybe it's because I don't watch it often, but I don't see what all the hype is about.

We're interested. But it's more of a debate over whether to find the evidence credible or not.

I always have interest in these topics, but the programs are doing the subject injustice. It's always inconclusive in the last 5 minutes. If that's what they are going to do all of the time, then investigate several phenomena and present the results. There is one program where the investigor does exactly that, and always makes HIS comments on whether person he's interviewing is credible of not.

"UFO Files" on the History Channel is a great show because its mostly the historical aspects of it. "UFO Hunters" is a crock of paranoid nonsense.
