Per John Farkis: There are four levels of tickets. (I'm using colors for clarification purposes only.)
You can buy a Blue table for $5,000. This is for Corporate and Private table sponsorship. It consists of 10 seats and you can go the the pre-party. (You are not buying 10 - $500 tickets. You are buying a table for $5,000 which has 10 seats.)
You can buy a Red table for $2,500. This is for Corporate and Private table sponsorship. It consists of 10 seats and you can go to the pre-party. (You are not buying 10 - $250 tickets. You are buying a table for $2,500 which has 10 seats.)
You can buy a Green table for $1,500. This is a General Reserved table. It consists of 10 seats but you are not allowed in the pre-party. (You are not buying 10 - $150 tickets. You are buying a table for $1,500 which has 10 seats.)
You can buy a Yellow General admission ticket for $125. This entitles you to sit anywhere except at Blue, Red or Green tables. You are not allowed in the pre-party.
No matter what color ticket you purchase, all food and beverages are available to everyone and are the same. The pre-party starts at 6:30PM and runs to 7:30 PM. General admission into the Gala is at 7:00PM. The Shrine and exhibit will be closed from 7:30PM to 8:30 PM. At 8:30PM, our program and live auction will start on the stage. The Shrine and exhibit will be open from 8:30PM to 10:30PM. You will be able to mingle with the guests and celebrities throughout the evening for photo op's. This is a slight change from what was initially posted and may be the source of the confusion. For that, I apologize.

COME ONE, COME ALL...TO ALAMO VILLAGE!!!
Although Alamo Village is officially closed, the owner has agreed to allow a visitation day on Sunday, October 10, 2010 so that Alamo Gala participants and others can walk around and photograph these iconic sets from John Wayne's "THE ALAMO." A time to be "just rememberin."
Richard Curilla, historian and "corrupt town marshall," will provide a group tour and hang around all day for Q. & A. Possible future owner David Jones will also be on hand. Please bring a sack lunch and bottled water as nothing is available on set - and don't forget to bring your camera!
The gate will open at 10:00 A.M. and the Village will close at 4:30 P.M. Bus transportation will be available in San Antonio next to the Alamo. The buses will leave at 8:00 A.M. and return for San Antonio at 3:00 P.M. Tickets will cost $30.00 and will cover the cost of the bus ride and Village admission. (Tickets can be purchased when you get on the bus.) Refreshments and snacks will also be served. Feel free to bring a cooler for your beverages. Admission at Alamo Village will be $10.00 if you choose not to take the bus. In any case, waivers of liability must be signed before you are allowed into the Village.
If you plan to take the bus, please contact Joan Headley at 210-415-1836 (ciasa@earthlink.net) so we can get an accurate count. General information is available from John Farkis at 810-225-3277 (jkfarkis@earthlink.net). In the event that we are unable to fill all seats on the bus by October 1, the bus will be cancelled. In that event, we will then notify all individuals in sufficient time to allow you to make alternate transportation plans.)
Rain or shine we look forward to seeing you at Alamo Village so take care and plan to have a great time!

Although this article is about the battle of Gonzales reenactment, I feel that this excerpt belongs here as it mentions the Waynamo 50th. Even Rich Curilla is mentioned! Guess the word's finally gettin' around.www.mysanantonio.com/news/texas_revolution_anniversary_starts_104174439.html?showFullArticle=y Events commemorating revolution start todayBy Scott Huddleston - Express-News Web Posted: 10/01/2010 3:37 CDT ...The anniversary coincides with the 50th birthday of the John Wayne film “The Alamo,” which premiered in San Antonio on Oct. 24, 1960. Alamo Village, Wayne's movie set near Brackettville, recently closed indefinitely, but will be open Oct. 10 for a special one-day visitation. Rich Curilla, the site's resident historian, said he'll give a tour at about 11 a.m. and be there to answer questions. It's the only place where people can get a feel today for the Alamo of 1836, Curilla said. He said he's hopeful a new buyer will restore the site to its glory days as Western- style attraction. “I liken it to the way John Wayne stuck with it, even as everyone was telling him, ‘Don't make this movie,'” Curilla said.
