How come it says that we have 101 members now, when marklemon was the 100th member and now, he 's showing as member 101? I was waiting for someone to ask that question. I was fooling around with the administrator tools and found a feature called "Recount Members". So I clicked it and it turns out we had a new member registration before marklemon that was missed, but now found although I dont know who it is.

Does everyone else like the red border that I added a week ago? There have been no complaints so I assume everyone is okay with it...

Red on black looks sharp, Greg. Nice job.
Kind of a Texas Tech motif, I guess.

Some of those banner ads are frightening. DO NOT READ THIS AD!
I shudder to think what happens, if you do.

Where's Seguin, I wonder? I thought he left for re-enforcements... Oh, is he away on a trip? How come you didn't start a "Seguin Will Be Gone.." thread, then? He's gonna feel left out.

Say, whatever happened to Wisconsinalamobuff? He used to post up a storm. They seem to die off for a reason. I was going to ask the same of bubbabod...

Well, it's a long time to wait, messageboard-wise, but I'm sure that a lot of the old-timers will be coming out of the woodwork once more for High Holy Days.

If they still have registered email address's why don't you send out an all points bulletin email? ;D Great idea, Mike! I know Wade does it from time to time over at Alamo Sentry. I think we should do it too on a regularly basis. Maybe once every 3 months. It sure could´nt hurt none...

Just sent this out...
To all registered members of the Alamo Central forum,
I'm writing to you to tell those who haven't checked us out in a while what the current situation is. We have just reached a milestone forum post of ten thousand. During the last few weeks, we have averaged more then a hundred posts per day. And its not just the same members but newer ones chipping in as well. We have also eclipsed the one hundred member mark but only a quarter of you have actually posted something. I encourage you to come check us out.
We are famous for the off-topic section with a new sub board focusing on the supernatural and unexplained. Also check out the third annual "Happy Holidays" board (now availible on the main page) and share with us your family traditions, recipes, and even a holiday wishlist. Also, lets not forget the real reason you all signed up...The Alamo. There are many articles and stories on Alamo Central that haven't been posted anywhere else, so who knows! You might learn something new!
I look forward to seeing some activity from new posters and old, as you come join in on the great discussions!
Sincerely, Greg Caggiano, forum administrator

Getting into the St. Patrick's Day mood by changing the board highlight color to green for the next few weeks.

Getting into the St. Patrick's Day mood by changing the board highlight color to green for the next few weeks. And when you point your cursor at a sub-forum it now lights up in blue instead of yellow as it used to...
