Hey, i may be off line for a while, it seems that i have a death threat and the State Patrol may want to take my computer. I was told that i can't delete any email or unhook or move the computer untill they come and actually unhook my computer them selves and take it back to their labs. They are not sure as to when though. So if you don't hear from me in the next few hours or days, that means that the State Patrol has my computer.... I am deffinately pressing charges on this nut.. Regards Mike

I would love to post the email i got but the state patrol said not to do anything or forward it untill they are finished with their investigation. Here's what happened, When i checked my email this morning, there was an email from this Mr. G. ***** and the title said "About you" i just figured it was spam that got thru my filters. In order to delete my spam messages, i have to open the email and i have like 20 seconds to view the email and delete. This is in case of a virus. So anyway, i started to read the message and it said that this guy, Mr G. *****is going to kill me and he has been watching me for several weeks. Well the first thing i did was call the Sheriff and they called my village marshall. He came over and had me print the messags and the details of the email, (the isp and so forth) and about an hour later he came back and said the state patrol might want to take my computer and have their CSI team go over it. Then, about a half hour later he returned and said that the state police may not take the computer after all, but not to delete or send it to anybody basiclly saying untill i hear from them. It's very scary but at the same time it's kind of exciting. I have a nice big dog and a very nice home protector.

Just sit out on the front porch with that gun Mike. You'll find that no one threatening will come near you...

Mike this idiot sounds like a schmuck and there is the possibilty that some rotten teen did this as well! It sounds like a scam because you don`t bother anybody, then all of a sudden this garbage comes in your e-mail! Have you had a chance to talk to any of your neighbors about this or if anybody else recieved a similar e-mail threat? I also think they`re trying to instill some fear in you! Hi everybody, well i did some research and found out that it is indeed a extortion scam. The FBI says they have had thousands of reports about this email..
Here it is... ;D
Hello
Is a pity that this is how your life is going to end as soon as youdon't comply. As you can see there is no need of introducing myself to you because I don't have any business with you, my duty as I am mailing you now is just to KILL you and I have to do it as I have already beenpaid for that.
Someone you call a friend wants you Dead by all means, and the personhave spent a lot of money on this, the person also came to us and tol me that he wanted you dead and he provided us with your name ,pictureand other necessary information's we needed about you. So I sent my boysto track you down and they have carried out the necessary investigationneeded for the operation on you, and they have done that but I toldthem not to kill you that I will like to contact you and see if your lif is Important to you or not since their findings shows that you are innocent.
I called my client back and ask him of your email address which I didn't tell him what I wanted to do with it and he gave it to me and I amusing it to contact you now. As I am writing to you now my men are monitoring you and they are telling me everything about you.
Now do you want to LIVE OR DIE? As someone has paid us to kill you. Getback to me now if you are ready to pay some fees to spare your life,$3,000 is all you need to spend You will first of all pay$1,000 then I will send a tape to you which i recorded every discusion i hade with the person who wanted you dead and as soon as you get the tape, you willpay the remaining $2,000. If you are not ready for my help, then I will carry on with my job straight-up.
WARNING: DO NOT THINK OF CONTACTING THE POLICE OR EVEN TELLING ANYONEBECAUSE I WILL KNOW.REMEMBER, SOMEONE WHO KNOWS YOU VERY WELL WANT YOUDEAD! I WILL EXTEND IT TO YOUR FAMILY, INCASE I NOTICE SOMETHING FUNNY.
DO NOT COME OUT ONCE IT IS 7:PM UNTIL I MAKE OUT TIME TO SEE YOU AN GIVE YOU THE TAPE OF MY DISCUSSION WITH THE PERSON WHO WANT YOU DEAD THENYOU CAN USE IT TO TAKE ANY LEGAL ACTION. GOOD LUCK AS I AWAIT YOURREPLY.

I know the 419eater site. I love how they bait those swindlers. So this threat business is just a new type of Nigerian scams. Thank God it was´nt for real. One time I went through 419eater´s pic file, I found a Nigerian holding a big sign saying, "Remember The Alamo"! ;D It was of course part of somebody´s trying to counter-bait them. There´s lots of funny pics there. It´s also funny to read some of the mail correspondence between the Nigerian swindlers and the baiters. I´ve received a Nigerian mail myself once. It was supposedly from Yahoo Australia, complete with a false Yahoo logo and letter head, informing me that I had won a lottery! ;D Of course, I did´nt react. So, now you can go outdoors after 7.15 PM again without getting killed...
