Guys, I have been looking to upgrade from proboards for some time now, just like Wade did with Alamo Sentry. The only thing that has stopped me is that we would lose all the posts, and members. But my friend is going to do the site hosting for me so that I won't have to pay for anything. There may be a way though, tho transfer all of the posts and threads to the new location. And there is a feature that instead of all members having to re-register, I can just enter the usernames and emails from this site so it automatically registers you. It's kind of a win-win situation: if the transfer works, we keep everything with better technology on the new site. If the transfer doesn't work, then we can just stay with proboards. Before I do anything, I just wanted everyone to be aware of the situation and have their say as to what I should do. It's up to you! So please vote.

I think it´s a great idea, Greg! Go ahead and try it. There must be a way to transfer or copy the posts here, to a new website. Try and ask about that in some of the computer/website-buff forums. Worst case scenario, we´ll just have to stay here. So, there´s no risk in trying...

Here's where we stand thus far. The new forum has been created and the posts and threads cannot be transferred. I really like the feautres though and I'm going to go ahead and work on the site. This site will remain up and serve as an archive. I think all of my members here will chip in and build this new fourm to what this site has become. Please read the details below about how to register!
I'm going to register every members myself with your username and email address. In the coming day or so expect an email from me. In this email will contain your new password. Please go to the new site and log on. Your username will be the same as on this site.
