Besides the museum, the Buckhorn also serves up some pretty good chow at the 'bar' and the atmosphere there is apt to whisk you back to the 19th Century. (It has a pretty decent giftshop, as well.)

Joseph Musso's Alamusso Miuseum, Los Angeles, CA.Joseph Musso's sculpture of THE DUKE, with Wayne wearing one of his outfits from THE ALAMO. The shirt was originally worn in HONDO. Wayne preferred this half-stock cap and ball rifle to a flintlock long rifle. Watch for him firing it over the main gate in the "Main Frontal Attack" scene. The rifle with the fancy patchbox was used by Duke in ALLEGHENY uprising and dates back to 1822.
