If you protest like that in Australia, they deport your sorry a**. They have a zero tolerance policy and they should. If they did it here in the US the democrats will get onboard and protest with them.

My friend from New Zealand sent me an email saying how they are putting Christmas lights up for the first time. He said that very few people have put them up over the years as it is not a big deal there yet (even though the entire country is mainly Christian).

Luminarias line the San Antonio River in tribute to the city's rich Mexican heritage. What about them luminarias? Probably look really nice at night!

Let's hope that it is done by a troupe of little children in period costume who volunteered their efforts, little pyromaniacs that they are.

For those of you who celebrate it, Merry Little Christmas, 12th Night, or The Epipheny.

Looking west from the Alamo courtyard gate toward the Alamo Plaza Christmas tree and the Hyatt Hotel. Directly beyond the hotel is the San Antonio River. Almost looks as close as the river in THE ALAMO (2004), doesn't it? Almost. (Notice how the tree is bowing with the wind? It was rather blustery last night.

Nice shots, Ned. Looks like you used some fill flash there? To be honest, Rick, I don't know what I did. Just lucky, I guess. Christmas tree in the lobby of the Menger Hotel on Alamo Plaza. Hope you all have a great Holiday season. I'll be spending mine with family and friends in California.
