I have James Mitchners "Texas" on VHS and it's on two tapes but it is only 2 1/2 hrs long. I think that it is a gimmick that makes you believe that it's an "Epic" and will be good, well, their WRONG!!!!

that movie sucked! i sold my vhs copy of that on EBAY.
You actually found a buyer??? I thought I was the only sucker to buy it.
I have a few things i would like to sell on ebay but they require a credit card for a "serrers" account and i don't have one.. Thats right, i'm probably the only adult over 40 who doesn't have a credit card other than a gas card.

Looking from the reconstructed Waynamo baptistry, toward the Low Barrack. This reconstruction was done in 1987 for the filming of GONE TO TEXAS and 13 DAYS TO GLORY. (Before the 13 DAYS palisade was built.)
Notice how the ground outside the Alamo compound seems to slope down? The Waynamo is actually built on a small hill.
