One of the best directors of all time, most noted for his "Man with no name" Spaghetti Western trilogy. The Good, the Bad and the Ugly gets my vote.

My vote goes to Once Upon A Time In America! One of the best gangster movies of all time, in my opinion...

He also directed "Once upon a time in the West" which was also very good. Really different to see Henry Fonda in a bad guy role.

The popularity of the relatively low budget FISTFUL OF DOLLARS and FOR A FEW DOLLARS MORE is partially responsible for the success of the bigger budgetted GOOD,BAD AND THE UGLY.
(That, and how well Lee Van Clief, Eli Wallach and Clint Eastwood play off each other.)
