I hate to say this, but the latest remake of The Wicker Man, starring Nick Cage, is among the worst. The original is a cult classic and not to be toyed with.

Movies such as Plan 9, Robot Monster, etc, may be really bad, but I love these movies because they are part of my childhood. I even asked my wife for a subscription to "Famous Monsters of Hollywood" this past Christmas (2007). I didn't complete my fav movies but I would like to include the two Universal Studio originals "Dracula" & "Frankenstein". As a kid out here in NJ, I watched these along with many others on a late night program called "Shock Theater" with host Zacherlie. Who, in the Philly area was known as Roland.
Of course, Disney's original "Davy Crockett, King of the Wild Frontier", tops the list. How many of us remember the original TV broadcasts that were absolute blockbusters at that time.
What great memories!
