Hi Hans, Whan i was in Copenhagen back in the mid 80's, as i recall everybody i spoke to there spoke very good english. Is english a regular subhect in school? Just curious. Mike Oh yes! Nowadays the kids start to learn English in the 4th grade (when I was a kid we first started in the 6th grade) and you leave school after the 9th or 10th grade if you don´t want to study any further. That way you get at least 6-7 years of English. They also teach German but English is considered "First foreign language" and German the "Second foreign language". I would say that most people here speak English adequately and a great percentage speaks it very well indeed.

Interested in selling any (or all) of the figures ? E me at Deno@wavecable.com please. No, Captain Dennis, I believe I may one day get the bug to build yet another diorama. By the way, I wish that you would not remain a guest here.

Thanks. They're scratch built from balsa foam that I purchase on-line. It's a nice medium in which to work. Fairly easy to carve, but very dusty! I'm a member of the alamofilm and Alamo Sentry. I spent a good part of last night surfing this site. There's some good stuff in here. Nice site! Dallas, we wish that you would come back. You seem to have a genuine interest in the Alamo that would be most welcome here.

To the Gentleman who had the Alamo (that fell apart in the garage, and then he threw it away along with the dead rat, or I least I hope he included the rat, lol). You said you had a large number of figures left over from the Alamo you had. What scale are they ? Do you still have them ? I would be interested in purchasing them (or some of them) from you if the price is right. I just completed building an Alamo and need some figures for it. Please e me and let me know if you are interested or not. THANKS !! AlamoEm@Yahoo.com Ditto to Alamoem. I may just get the bug to build another H o scale Alamo. So how, your model coming along? And what scale is it? It's been a long time inbetween posts.

Great shots Ned, Thats way beyond my talent range especially the church.
If i where to attempt a diorama i would do it in 1/76 or either 1/32 scale, Might as well go big...
