This audio tour of the Alamo, narrated by the ghost of Wild Bill Keilman*, the most famous tour guide in San Antonio, should be a must for all first-time Alamo visitors. The CD is broken down into numbered chapters stops and leads the listener all around Alamo Plaza, as well as to the Riverwalk, La Villita, Military and Main Plaza, plus many other historical spots in town. The narrator gives a little blurb about each stop, while the accompanying map guides the visitor's footsteps with ease. Why the Drt does not have a similar audio tour program on sale inside the Alamo giftshop is anyone's guess. It would sell like hotcakes. *Actually Orville Keilman, Wild Bill's nephew.

I found this one on eBay. Release date was 2004. I still think that the DRT should do their own version and sell it in the Alamo Giftshop. I'd buy one.
