Grab a cup of coffee, a donut (or oatmeal for those with high cholesterol), and tell us about your day. -Use this for unimportant events and every day happenings. if you have something major to announce then by all means, start a new thread.

Barbecued some steak today and had family, friends and neighbors over. I reckon this means that Summer is really here, now.

Last day of school is this wednesday. Final exams take place everyday until the last minute of school. Today I had Spanish and Computer Setup/Service. The two hardest tests of the year so far. The spanish test had 200 questions and a five paragraph essay in spanish on what we used to do as a child. The CSS test was 80 questions and we had to write a program using Microsoft C++ programs.

I had an english final exam today which consisted of 40 multiple choice questions, 20 vocabulary terms, 10 quote analysis questions, and a five paragraph essay. Tomorrow is the last day but I'll have to take the history and math finals before school's out...

I hope there's nice weather for her. If she got married today in New Jersey she would have upper seventies...

That would be awesome! Will you get free eats, while on the job? When I was bussing tables and dishwashing on the nite-shift at Coffee Dan's, back in 1969, we could have anything on the menu for dinner, except the Prime Rib and the lobster. I had a special fondness for Reuben sandwiches and fried scallops, back then. Plus, we would use one of the tall malted milk glasses for all the free soda we could imbibe. In the dishroom, the temperature of the dishwasher reached 220 degrees, so we imbibed quite a lot, I can tell you. If I'd been working in an Italian restaurant, I would likely have had lasagna until I grew weary of it. (Which is something I cannot imagine ever happening.)

A couple of my friends work there and they say that you get one meal a shift. Only shrimp and steak dishes are off-limits. But there steak is horrible anyway so that's okay.
