Pretty gritty film for its time, addressing a subject that was almost taboo to filmmakers in the Sixties: rape.

Is it just me or did Wayne look a little out of place for this film? How so? You mean too old for the role? I guess that could be said for THE GREEN BERETS, too. But hey, this was The Duke. He never really got old in our eyes. (He did however get "comfortable" to Ann Margaret in TRAIN ROBBERS.)
