Nice. It (the snow) will be coming on soon, then? Since Global Warming we don't get much snow at all about a couple of days last year that's why I have to be out quick to get some pictures as it's all melted the following day

And if there was, it doesnt have a direct effect on weather anyways, just the poles.

The poles have a great deal of influence on the World's weather systems, unfortunately as no one can definitely say for absolute certainty that CO2 emisions are the cause by the time it's proven one way or another it might already be too late to do anything about it! If that is the case personally I wont be around to worry about it but the children of the children of today will God help them as they will need it.

Stay away from politics is my motto but just to put my 2 cents/pence in, there are just as many scientists who say that global warming is a natural thing as opposed to man made. But if there is global warming, last year we had over 14 feet of snow and during the month of December the temp didn't go above o° and January was not much better, Maybe thats why my wife left me..
Note to self. Stay away from politics.......

As John Wayne's Crockett once said to Flaca, "Politics never did flavor folks soup."

Note to self. Stay away from politics....... That's exactly the point the weather systems are changing it's the 2nd November here and I have been out walking today in a short sleeved t-shirt and I was still hot it should be freezing here now. I don't know how anyone can catagorically state there's no such thing as Global Warming I certainly couldn't.

Global Warming is merely a shift in climate. The earth does this ever couple hundred thousand years or so. Last time it happened we had nothing but neanderthals inhabititing the earth, and i'm sure if they had thermometers and weather-recording technology, they would be recording the same things as we are today.

Most of this so called global warming is coming from the left side of the fence, just think about that! Among the biggest names spouting this jive is Al Gore! I guess we better tell cows not to phart and the like, silly stuff with an attempt at scare tactics to persuade you to their way of thinking! ;D TED COLE....aka....Cole_blooded

"It's beginning to look a LOT like Christmas..." We got our first snow of the season this morning. But I love how the weathermen use the term "Wintry Mix". Makes it sound like something you could eat...

Thought I would enlarge these photos that John and Sue originally posted on another thread and move them over here. Sue & John, back in the day at their pub, the Crown Inn.

The Crown Inn. Sue & John, if you can enlighten us with stories about those pub days, I'm sure they would be very interesting to Alamo Central members.
