WHYTHE, ROBERT L. (?-?). Robert L. Whythe, early settler, moved to Texas in 1839 and settled in Harrison County. He applied for his headright at Panola in September 1841. From November 14, 1842, to January 16, 1843, he was a member of the House of the Seventh Congress, serving on committees on foreign relations, retrenchment, and post offices and post roads.
