Ain't it so. One of my wishes is for somebody to make an accurate film of the Battle of New Orleans.
Only ones I've seen were both versions of The Buccaneer and a couple on the History Channel. None had enough extras or reenactors to make it look right.

In 2015, the bicentennial of the Battle of New Orleans there will be a large scale reenactment of the battle there. Martin Vasquez and Adam Dominguez of King's X in Alamo Plaza plan on participating as British reenactors. Martin and Adam goofing around in King's X.

Has anyone been following the War of 1812 bicentennial events? A lot of Texian revolution reenactors seem to be.

The battle reenactment in New Orleans was this past weekend and rather spectacular with 1500 participants. Wish I could've gone. Photo by Aletha Watson.
